Walt Disney autograph
This note is dated 1940 early in his career. Born in Chicago in 1901, Disney developed an early interest in drawing. He took art classes as a boy and got a job as a commercial illustrator at the age of 18. He moved to California in the early 1920's and set up the Disney Brothers Studio with hs brother Roy. Walt developed the character Mickey Mouse in 1928, his first highly popular success; he also provided the voice for this creation in the early years. He holds the record for most Academy Awards earned by an individual. The note is double matted with a great photo of Walt at work to 11x14, framed and ready to hang. It comes with a forensic handwriting examiners Certificate of Authenciity. The examiner is board ceritified and court approved and worked for the secret service as a handwriting examiner.
